Dominican Republic: Play Time at Casa de Campo
Yes, there are gorgeous beach resorts all over the world but Casa de Campo in Dominican Republic holds an extra special place in our hearts because one of our best friends got married there. We love the beach and we love love! Perfect combo.
Caso de Campo is an ahhhhmazing 7,000-acre hotel, resort and residential community and serious dream Caribbean destination. We were lucky enough to check out one of their Exclusive Villas which was incredible. Huge rooms, full kitchen, lush backyard, a pool and the list goes on.
We vacationed with friends so a villa was the perfect space for us, however there are a variety of villa sizes and locations available as well as single rooms in the hotel. Something for everyone!
Casa de Campos´private Minitas Beach is just minutes from the main resort area. We hopped on our golf cart (our mode of transportation throughout the resort) and were at the beach in about 5. There are tons of chairs and towels available and (most importantly) cocktail service if you’d like to try a Piña Colada served in a native pineapple. And trust us, you do.
Le Cirque Restaurant has created a beautiful dining experience at The Beach Club right on on Minitas Beach.
They serve seafood, pasta and fresh salads with a side of gorgeous tropical views. Yes, please! It’s perfect for lunch or an early dinner to watch the sunset.
In addition to straight up chilling on the beach, Casa de Campo offers tons of watersports. Inland you can find tennis, an Equestrian Center and tours of the surrounding areas. We weren’t able to try it all, but if (when) we go back we’ll be checking out Cueva de las Maravillas (the Cave of Wonders) in La Romana.
Contact Casa de Campo to book your Caribbean vacay now and thank us later.
